It’s almost here!

Born in New York, I grew up playing almost every sport, which is why my novels are often associated with current or former athletes. I love developing romantic relationships involving hockey players, and have figured out the lacrosse players aren't so bad either!

I was raised to "take advantage of the snow" and I feel the most nostalgic about the snow.

My primary career started in New York City, but has taken me all over the world. I love hiking in the Alps and Surfing in the Pacific. At the same time, there is nothing like the urban energy of London, Paris, Berlin, Hong Kong or NYC.

Short answer: I love my dogs, my friends, my adorable jailbait husband, being active and traveling. I am really active, but where others choose the gym or jog on a treadmill; I love experiencing something concrete and authentic. 

I need to run outside where I can  watch the people, feel sensations -like leaves crunching under my feet- or smell the seasons. Instead of lifting, I would rather play hockey or soccer, where there is strategy, comraderie, 'the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

In downtime, I love curling up with a book by the fire or trying a new-to-me creative pastime.

When I first decided to run voluntarily, I started by saying, I will run the New York City Marathon - not a small goal. But I loved it so much, I have already done it four times. 

Becoming a writer happened pretty much the same way. I decided simply, I should write a hockey romance novel; and I did. Just as I found running as a passion, I find myself lost in my love of writing.  My first manuscript is in my editors hands, and I already have two more underway.

I subscribe to the old windsurfing adage - Go Big or Go Home, and I am only realizing as I write this paragraph how that mantra has played out
